I've been to many Solo Accoustic sets by Aaron Lewis of Staind and normally I would rate everything about the performance an 11 out of 10, but something about this evening was off...besides the waste of $65 each for two tickets. Aaron Lewis seemed whacked out of his mind, singing "clips" of Justin Timberlake songs, and other rediculous Top 40 Pop "stuff" and yeah it was funny...the first time. He seemed to be annoyed with the requests being yelled out by the same three or four people, requesting him to perform songs accoustically that are not really possible to do so like Mudshovel for instance. He maybe sang a total of eight full songs from start to finish without stopping. The other stuff was a compilation of jokes, attempts at songs he didn't know, and just a pile of garbage overall. To his defense he was at this venue for about two weeks straight so doing the same thing at the same place for the same three to four screaming requesters might get a little old. But overall, whatever he was smoking that night: pass it over here please. And while you're at it pass over the wasted $130 too. Thanks.
