Opening the show with Teddy Pendergrass was a nice surprise – his voice was PURRRFECT! Christopher Williams’ melodic sound, a combination of strong, smooth, sexiness made the concert worth attending. Oh, and he is FOINNE! “O!” “M!” “G!” “Promises,” “I’m Dreamin” and “Every Little Thing U Do,” sounded even better with the matured voice. The audience in full affect danced during the performance to old school hits sounding just as good as back in the day during the Era of the New Jack Swing. You know how hard the NYC can be. The triple threat artist moved his career to the big screen, his acting debut, a cameo appearance in Mario Van Peebles, 1991 film, New Jack City, and touring the country during 2007, he starred in play write Angela Dunlap’s Gossip, Lies and Secrets. If CW is returning to the studio, he should focus on ballads, stick with the crooner philosophy, and try to hook up with Tyler Perry. Does Tyler Perry still write plays! Move over Rick Fox, we are about to experience another surge of what Christopher Williams is to become, starring in Theo Landau’s play “Loving Him Is Killing Me,” coming to New York City’s Beacon Theatre this October.
