How to Watch Coachella 2007 on Your Computer
. Your vote has been counted.
Coachella is one of those few things that you have to experience live at least
once in your life. There is simply no substitute for being there live in
However, for every one lucky person that attends the Coachella Festival in
2007, there are probably 10 less fortunate persons who wish they could be
there, but can't.
But wait! There is some hope for these poor souls! They may not be able to get
the full, beautiful experience of Coachella's blazing heat, expensive food,
and long waits in line for a overflowing porto-potty... but they can get an
idea of what's happening out there in Indio by simply logging on to the
internet and watching online!
Things You'll Need
Internet access (preferably hi-speed)
STEP 1: LOG ON TO AT&T BLUE ROOM.
This site has been around for the past few years, offering free live
of live music events, including performances at some of the best music
festivals in America... Coachella, Vegoose, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits,
Note: You don't get to see ALL of the Coachella acts, only a selected few
acts... but hey, better than nuthin', right?
Also, be sure to check out some of the archived performances currently
available from other festivals like Vegoose, there's some good stuff
STEP 2: MONITOR YOUTUBE. Last year, Coachella exploded
all over YouTube.com like never before. Some people weren't even waiting
until the next day to upload video clips taken with cameras and cell
phones (and the occasional smuggled-in video camera). Of course, these
video clips are mostly incomplete, short snippets varying in quality (with
most of them being pretty LOUSY quality) but with each passing year, you
can be sure that there will be more and more videos uploaded almost
immediately, giving the poor kids at
a taste of what they're missing out on.
Do a search for "Coachella 2007" on Saturday and there will already be at
least a couple clips from Friday night already up for your viewing
